Poco M8 Pro

The Xiaomi Poco M8 Pro brings flagship-inspired features down to a genuinely accessible mid-range price, built for professionals, students, and power users who want premium display quality, serious battery life, and reliable performance without overspending.

At the heart of the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, built on an efficient 4nm process with an octa-core CPU reaching up to 2.7GHz, paired with an Adreno GPU for smooth everyday performance, multitasking, and moderate gaming. Combined with up to 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 512GB, the M8 Pro handles demanding workflows, content, and apps with ease.

The 6.83-inch 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED display is a genuine standout, delivering ultra-smooth visuals with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 3200 nits — among the brightest screens in its class, ensuring excellent visibility even under bright outdoor sun. Protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the display pairs vivid color accuracy with real durability.

Photography is well covered with a 50MP main camera featuring Optical Image Stabilization for sharp, stable shots, complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide lens that’s ideal for landscape photography, architectural shots, and group photos. The 32MP front camera captures detailed self-portraits and delivers excellent quality for video calls and social content, with support for 4K video recording, AI scene optimization, night photography enhancements, and portrait effects.

Battery life is where the M8 Pro truly excels — a massive 6500mAh battery comfortably delivers more than a full day of heavy use, while 100W HyperCharge gets you from empty to full in under an hour. The device also supports up to 22.5W reverse wired charging, letting you power other compatible devices on the go.

Built for durability, the Poco M8 Pro carries IP66/IP68/IP69K ratings, protecting against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets — genuinely rugged for Kenya’s varied conditions. Symmetrical stereo speakers with a 400% volume boost deliver rich audio, while an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock provide fast, secure access. The device also comes packed with Google Gemini integration, Circle to Search, and AI-powered photo editing tools like AI Erase and AI Sky.

Running Android 15 with HyperOS 2, and fully supporting 5G, Wi-Fi 6/6E, NFC, and an infrared blaster, the Poco M8 Pro is an excellent choice for mobile banking, M-Pesa, remote work, and everyday content creation. If you want flagship-level display quality, exceptional battery endurance, and genuine durability at a mid-range price, the Poco M8 Pro delivers outstanding value.
