JBL Bar 500MK2 5.1-Channel Soundbar

Powerful 750W Home Cinema Sound

Bring the cinema experience home with the JBL Bar 500MK2. Its 5.1-channel system combines a powerful soundbar with a dedicated wireless subwoofer, delivering up to 750W of maximum system power. JBL rates the soundbar at up to 450W and the wireless subwoofer at up to 300W.

Whether you’re watching an action movie, following a football match, playing games or streaming music, the Bar 500MK2 is designed to fill your room with powerful, detailed sound.

10-Inch Wireless Subwoofer

The included 10-inch (260mm) wireless subwoofer is designed to deliver the deep bass that makes movies, music and games more exciting. Explosions, sound effects, bass lines and action sequences get significantly more impact without requiring a wired connection between the soundbar and subwoofer.

Dolby Atmos & DTS Virtual:X

Experience a more immersive soundstage with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X. Compatible content can create the impression of sound coming from around and above you, helping make movies and games feel more cinematic.

MultiBeam 3.0

JBL’s MultiBeam 3.0 technology creates a wider soundstage, helping distribute audio across the room for a more spacious listening experience without requiring a full collection of separate surround speakers.

Hear Every Word with PureVoice 2.0

Dialogue can sometimes get lost beneath music and sound effects. PureVoice 2.0 automatically optimizes dialogue based on the scene and the soundbar’s volume, helping conversations remain clear and easier to understand.

SmartDetails

The Bar 500MK2 also features SmartDetails, JBL’s sound-enhancement technology designed to preserve subtle details in movie soundtracks, from quieter background sounds to smaller effects that can otherwise be missed.

HDMI eARC & 4K Video Passthrough

Connect the Bar 500MK2 to your compatible TV using HDMI eARC for high-quality audio, including Dolby Atmos. The HDMI input supports 4K video passthrough with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, making the soundbar suitable for modern TVs, streaming devices and gaming consoles.

Wireless Streaming

Built-in Bluetooth 5.3 allows you to stream music wirelessly from compatible smartphones, tablets and other devices. The Bar 500MK2 also supports dual-band Wi-Fi and works with connected streaming features through the JBL ecosystem.

JBL ONE App

Use the JBL ONE App to help set up your soundbar, adjust the equalizer and personalize your listening experience. The app also provides access to software updates and supported music services.

Automatic Room Calibration

Every room has different acoustics. The Bar 500MK2 can analyze how sound interacts with your room’s walls and furniture and automatically calibrate the system to optimize the surround-sound experience for your space.
