JBL Bar 1300MK2 11.1.4-Channel Soundbar

JBL’s Immersive 11.1.4-Channel Sound

The JBL Bar 1300MK2 is designed for customers who want a premium home-cinema experience without the complexity of running speaker cables around the room.

Its 11.1.4-channel architecture combines the main soundbar, two detachable wireless surround speakers and a powerful wireless subwoofer. The result is an immersive sound field designed to place audio around and above you.

Massive 2,470W Maximum Output

The Bar 1300MK2 delivers up to 2,470W maximum speaker output at 1% THD, with JBL specifying 1,235W RMS at 1% THD.

The system consists of up to 950W from the main soundbar, 160W from each detachable surround speaker and 1,200W from the subwoofer.

This gives the Bar 1300MK2 the power needed for large living rooms, movie nights, gaming and music.

True Dolby Atmos & DTS:X

Experience movies and games with true Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The Bar 1300MK2 uses dedicated upward-firing drivers to create a greater sense of height, allowing compatible soundtracks to place effects above and around the listener.

The main soundbar features four 3-inch upward-firing full-range drivers, while each detachable surround speaker also includes an upward-firing driver.

Powerful Dual 8-Inch Subwoofer

The included wireless subwoofer uses two 8-inch (200mm) drivers to produce deep, powerful low frequencies.

With up to 1,200W maximum output, the subwoofer adds impact to explosions, action scenes, music and gaming while maintaining a wireless connection to the main system.

Detachable Wireless Surround Speakers

The two detachable wireless speakers are one of the Bar 1300MK2’s biggest advantages.

Remove them from the ends of the soundbar and place them behind your seating position to create rear surround channels. Each speaker has its own rechargeable battery and provides up to 10 hours of playback, depending on volume and content.

When you are finished, simply reconnect the speakers to the soundbar for charging.

Use the Surround Speakers Independently

The detachable speakers aren’t limited to home-cinema use. JBL allows them to function as portable Bluetooth speakers, meaning you can use one or both speakers independently around your home when you are not watching TV.

This makes the Bar 1300MK2 more flexible than a conventional fixed surround-sound system.

MultiBeam 3.0

MultiBeam 3.0 helps create a wider soundstage, making the audio feel less confined to the physical position of the soundbar.

Combined with the detachable rear speakers and upward-firing drivers, it helps produce a more spacious and immersive home-cinema experience.

PureVoice 2.0

PureVoice 2.0 is designed to improve dialogue clarity by optimizing voices against other elements of the soundtrack.

This is particularly useful when watching movies and TV shows where conversations can otherwise be difficult to hear beneath music and sound effects.

SmartDetails

SmartDetails helps preserve subtle audio information in movies, shows and other content, allowing you to hear more of the smaller sounds and details within a soundtrack.

HDMI eARC & 4K Video Passthrough

Connect your compatible TV through HDMI eARC to take advantage of high-quality audio formats including Dolby Atmos.

The Bar 1300MK2 also provides three HDMI inputs and supports 4K video passthrough with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, making it suitable for modern TVs, streaming devices and gaming consoles.

Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Streaming

The main soundbar supports Bluetooth 5.3, while the detachable surround speakers use Bluetooth 5.4.

The system also supports dual-band Wi-Fi using 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, providing access to supported connected audio and streaming features.

JBL ONE App

Use the JBL ONE App to set up and personalize the Bar 1300MK2. The app provides equalizer controls, supported music services and software updates.

Night Listening & Broadcasting

The detachable speakers provide useful listening options beyond conventional surround sound.

Night Listening allows the detachable speakers to provide a more personal listening experience, while Broadcasting allows one or both speakers to be used elsewhere in your home.
