JBL Bar 1000MK2 7.1.4-Channel Soundbar

True 7.1.4-Channel JBL Surround Sound

The JBL Bar 1000MK2 is designed for buyers who want a premium home cinema experience without installing a complicated wired surround system.

Its 7.1.4-channel configuration combines the main soundbar, two detachable wireless surround speakers and a dedicated wireless subwoofer. Simply remove the surround speakers from the ends of the soundbar and position them behind your seating area to create a more immersive surround-sound experience.

Powerful 960W Sound

With up to 960W total speaker power output, the JBL Bar 1000MK2 delivers powerful audio for movies, sports, gaming and music.

The system consists of a 500W soundbar, two 80W detachable surround speakers and a 300W wireless subwoofer. JBL lists the complete system at 480W RMS at 1% THD.

True Dolby Atmos & DTS:X

Experience cinematic 3D spatial sound with true Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The soundbar uses dedicated upward-firing drivers, while the detachable surround speakers also feature upward-firing drivers to help create a more immersive sense of height and movement.

Compatible movies, shows and games can sound as though audio is coming from around and above you, putting you closer to the action.

10-Inch Wireless Subwoofer

The included 10-inch (260mm) wireless subwoofer adds deep, powerful bass to your entertainment.

With up to 300W output, it gives explosions, music and low-frequency effects significantly more impact while keeping the installation clean because there is no audio cable running between the subwoofer and soundbar.

Detachable Wireless Surround Speakers

One of the biggest advantages of the Bar 1000MK2 is its two detachable wireless surround speakers.

Remove them from either end of the soundbar and place them behind your seating position. Each speaker has its own rechargeable battery and can provide up to 10 hours of playback, depending on volume and content.

When you’re finished, simply reconnect the speakers to the soundbar to recharge them.

MultiBeam 3.0

MultiBeam 3.0 helps create a wider, more cinematic soundstage, making the sound feel less confined to the physical location of the soundbar.

Clearer Dialogue with PureVoice 2.0

PureVoice 2.0 is designed to make dialogue easier to hear by optimizing voices against other elements of the soundtrack.

This is especially useful for movies and TV shows where conversations can sometimes be overwhelmed by music and sound effects.

SmartDetails

The Bar 1000MK2 features SmartDetails, which helps preserve subtle sounds and details in movie soundtracks and other content, allowing you to hear more of what’s happening in the scene.

HDMI eARC & 4K Video Passthrough

Connect the soundbar to your compatible TV using HDMI eARC for high-quality audio, including Dolby Atmos.

The system also supports 4K video passthrough with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, making it suitable for modern TVs, streaming devices and gaming consoles. It has three HDMI inputs plus one HDMI output with eARC.

Bluetooth 5.3 & Wi-Fi

Stream music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or other compatible device using Bluetooth 5.3.

The Bar 1000MK2 also supports dual-band Wi-Fi, giving you access to connected streaming and smart-home features through supported services and platforms.

JBL ONE App

Use the JBL ONE App to set up and personalize your soundbar. You can adjust the equalizer, access supported music services and receive software updates.

Night Listening & Broadcasting

The detachable speakers provide additional flexibility beyond traditional surround sound.

With Night Listening, the main soundbar and subwoofer can be muted while the detachable speakers provide a more personal listening experience.

The speakers can also be used for Broadcasting, allowing you to take one or both speakers into another room while continuing to listen to your content.
